THE STUDENT'S HANDBOOK
The purpose of this Students' Handbook is to acquaint our students with the various opportunities offered by the Department of Mathematical Sciences, Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria. The handbook will also enable the students to know the various curricula leading to the award of Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Industrial Mathematics. Furthermore, the general academic regulations for degree courses, examination regulations, offences and disciplinary actions, guidelines to change School/Department and so on are all highlighted in this handbook. The Department also runs Postgraduate programmes leading to the award of M.Tech and Ph.D degrees in Mathematics. The details are contained in Section B of the handbook. It is pertinent to mention that the Department also renders Consultancy Services to Companies and Industries.
