Background Dr. Adegbie K. Sunday was born at Ibadan-Oyo State, Nigeria. He graduated from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho, Nigeria with a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Pure and Applied Mathematics and a Master of Technology Degree in Applied Mathematics in 2000 and 2003 respectively. He received a Ph.D in Applied Mathematics from the same University in 2008. Dr. Adegbie is a member of the local and international professional bodies such as Nigerian Mathematical Society (N.M.S), American Mathematical Society (A.M.S) and others. He has a number of scientific publications in local and International peer-reviewed journals and proceedings to his credit. He has peer-reviewed some articles in local and international journals. He served as member of various Ad-hoc Committees at Federal University of Technology, Akure. Dr. Adegbie is a prolific researcher and recipient of various awards and scholarships including the ‘2008 Best Doctoral Thesis Award in Analysis, Nigerian Mathematical Society (NMS)’. His research interests are focused on Computational Fluid Dynamics and Mathematical Theory of Thermal Explosion.
