Dr. Adegbie K. Sunday was born at Ibadan-Oyo State, Nigeria. He graduated from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho, Nigeria with a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Pure and Applied Mathematics and a Master of Technology Degree in Applied Mathematics in 2000 and 2003 respectively. He received a Ph.D in Applied Mathematics from the same University in 2008. Dr. Adegbie is a member of the local and international professional bodies such as Nigerian Mathematical Society (N.M.S), American Mathematical Society (A.M.S) and others. He has a number of scientific publications in local and International peer-reviewed journals and proceedings to his credit. He has peer-reviewed some articles in local and international journals. He served as member of various Ad-hoc Committees at Federal University of Technology, Akure. Dr. Adegbie is a prolific researcher and recipient of various awards and scholarships including the â€˜2008 Best Doctoral Thesis Award in Analysis, Nigerian Mathematical Society (NMS)â€™. His research interests are focused on Computational Fluid Dynamics and Mathematical Theory of Thermal Explosion.
